The Registering Online page allows the following merchants to register online for the first time:
To register online for the first time:
1. Click the Register online now link in the EBT Merchant Log In page. The Food Stamp Merchant, Cash-Only Merchant, Headquarters Merchant or WIC-Only Merchant can register online for the first time.

Online Registration can be a five-step or a one-step process for merchants as seen in the table below:
| Merchant | Registration Process |
| Food Stamp Merchant | Registration is a five-step process but if the Food Stamp Merchant’s status is Contract Signed (CON), Active (LIV), or Suspended (SNA), then registration is only a one-step process. |
| Cash Only Merchant | Registration is a one-step process. |
| Headquarters Merchant | Registration is a one-step process. |
| WIC-only Merchant | Registration is a one-step process. |
