To register online:
1. Click the Register online now link on the EBT Merchant Log In page. The Merchant Registration (Step 1 of 5) page displays.
2. Click the Headquarters Merchant registration link. The Headquarters Merchant Registration page displays.
The Headquarters Merchant Registration page displays fields in two sections:
It is required that you enter valid information for all fields in the Merchant Identification and User Access sections, and then click the Continue button to begin the online registration process, or error messages will display. |
3. Enter the merchant identification number in the Merchant ID field.
4. Enter the store phone number in the Store Phone # field.
5. Enter the last four digits of the merchant’s bank account number in the Last 4 digits of Merchant Bank Account # field.
Click the Help link next to the Last 4 digits of Merchant Bank Account # field to display a sample card’s Bank Account Number. |
6. Enter the first name of the merchant in the First Name field.
7. Enter the last name of the merchant in the Last Name field.
8. Enter a valid email address in the User ID field.
9. Enter the email address that you entered in the User ID field again in the Re-enter User ID field.
10. Enter the password in the Password field.
11. Enter the password that you entered in the Password field again in the Confirm Password field.
12. Select the challenge question that you would like to answer from the drop-down list next to the Challenge Question field.
From time to time the list of Challenge Questions may be updated. |
13. Provide your answer(s) for the question(s) selected in the Challenge Question field in the Challenge Response field.
14. Click the Continue button to begin the online registration process. The Headquarters Merchant Registration Complete page displays indicating that the registration process was completed successfully.
15. Click the Continue to ebtMerchant button. The Merchant Registration Complete page displays a confirmation message stating that the online registration process was successfully completed.
o Click the Continue to ebtMerchant button in the Headquarters Merchant Registration Complete page. The EBT Merchant Services page displays.
· Click the Log off button to return to the EBT Merchant Log In page.
· Click the Cancel button if you want to clear the entered fields and enter them again.
