Case Number

The Case Number field indicates the unique number assigned by the State to a client for providing authorized program benefits.

In some states, multiple agencies administer benefits to their clients. If a client is eligible for benefits from multiple agencies, the client has multiple cases. A separate case number is issued for each agency administering benefits to a client.
